About Us
Most of us are busy enough! We are trying to take a simple approach to church instead of piling church life on top of an already complex schedule. Therefore, our mission statement, vision, and statement of purpose are all the same — Loving God, Loving One Another, Loving Our Neighbors. We see this as the heart to Christianity, and we want everything we do to fit well underneath this.

We have an active Campus Ministry, specialized Children's Ministries, and special events for all ages. Our goal is for all of our ministries and age groups to function under our stated focus: Loving God, Loving One Another, Loving Our Neighbors. As mentioned on the Home page, we unashamedly emphasize participation in Sunday Worship, Small Groups, and Ministry Teams. We believe that these programs help us accomplish what God expects of us (i.e. Loving God, Loving One Another, and Loving Our Neighbors). If you're looking for a church that won't seek to get involved in your life or encourage you to be involved in the lives of others... or if you're looking for a church that will let you just slip in and slip out without ever even learning your name, then this probably isn't the church for you. We are committed to not only loving God, but also to loving others — that includes you!  We welcome all who would come with an open heart to God and His will for them, and we'll do our best to help you discover God's plan for your life!

Our Preaching Minister, David Ellis, has been with us for a year and we recently hired Jake Dorton to be our part-time Campus minister and to direct our Cats for Christ ministry.
Our History
We are a Church of Christ with roots in the Restoration Movement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restoration_Movement). Our desire, however, is not to be denominational or tied unnecessarily to a set of church traditions that are not biblical or beneficial. Simply put, then, we strive to be a non-denominational church who seeks to follow God's purpose for us as revealed in Scripture. We are open to change, discussion, and growth so that we will be what God intended us to be, for His awesome glory!

What some are saying about the Bozeman Church of Christ

I wanted to tell you that last night was the first time in my 31 years that I have ever lifted my hands in praise in group worship.  It felt so good and right…

I have been going to church with understanding for over 60 years and I have never HEARD a more positive and motivating sermon in all those years and thank David for it from the bottom of my now motivated heart.

Attending church is a happy, healthy, rewarding act, and it seems that [way for] everyone from the elderly folks to the young folks (especially them - you have a great knack for reaching all ages!).

Your words have encouraged me tremendously.  I… look forward to worshipping with you the following… week.
